Brazos Bend State Park

Okay the sign tells you just how much "FUN" I had! Talk about stressful. Look at that dock! Notice the slats only go up half way. Why on EARTH would they build a dock that way when there are Real life alligators lurking below? Hayden wouldn't stop leaning over and it was completely giving me the hebe jeebies. Even Nolan and Mollie were making me nervous when they would lean over to see if they got a fish. So Hayman and I stayed up at the play ground most of the time, but I must say it was super exciting for the kids. This state park is huge it was really neat but kinda creepy these signs were everywhere..even the picnic areas. Don't you love how they say don't annoy....and I'm with Bill:) haha

Don't worry I was holding the dude...it was really freaky!! The kids though named him "Lucky" cause every time he swam by there line they would catch a fish!:)

No that's not bait...its the biggest fish we caught that day! Yes, Bill risked the kids life to catch this!:) Ha

Mollie is Seven!

So I got a new lens today ! YIPEEEEE ( Bree... it's the 50 mm) I was so excited to go practice with it and what better timing than to take ...(from the words of Mollie herself)" Mollie's last 6 year old pictures ever!" sniff sniff tear again! I can not handle this growing up thing..I know, I know, its better than the reverse...blah blah blah!

Hello Seven!

I believe you are a good photographer when you can capture the Real Smile, you know the one that says... I am Loved! I strive for that smile or look for it every time I take a picture. I don't want a posed fakey smile you know one that says... nothing about who they are. I believe today I reached my goal. Mollie is here showing her true self. Actually before we took the pics I told Mollie... "go get dressed, put on your favorite outfit." ...and this is what I got! :) I love it because it's her!

I took about 200 pics today and I finally settled on this one being my Most favorite! I was editing it and all of a suddenI just start busting up in laughter, I had No idea Nolan was there! Could not stop laughing! So now this is By Far my most favorite photo, I need to make room on my walls for it!!!

Making a Home!

The house is coming along..here are some pics of progress. You won't find my kids in the house though they have made a new house out in the two big Date trees we have in the back yard. What are dates good for anyways? Cause we are going to have a million of them..Okay now this makes me Happy! My Favorite photo finally displayed. I bought a backless frame for 60% off because it was on Sale and had a booboo. So its framed with no glass and looks REALLY good. I had to cut off about 2 inches of the original photo to make it fit which kinda makes me sad. WHY don't they make frames to fit pictures? Did you know that it is more appealing to the eye to have an 8x12 photo than 8x10 but all the stupid frame makers make 8x10s so you end up chopping off your picture!! Just like this photo when I take the picture full frame with my camera its a 16x22 but absolutely could not find that size of frame so I had to adjust my picture and it bothers me cause it doesn't look as good to me. I should have had Bill just make me one but I couldn't wait! Oh well I still Love it!

The stairwell in progress!! Loving it still!My brother makes frames and I went to his shop and snagged some backless frames forever ago. I really didn't know what I was gonna do with them. But thanks to Bree she gave me this fab idea to put the kids art work in there! I have a little plastic hook so I can switch the artwork out whenever I want. I so love it, I have these up in our toy room and they make me smile! I had each kid do a self portrait-even Hayman:)

okay well enough bragging on my projects.:) I have to go get a replacement SS card now. What a pain in my ass. I guess I have to prove I'm a citizen here before I get my Drivers licence in TX. Uhhg I hate dealing with stuff like this but it has to be done! Have a great Day!

Her First Date!

Sniff sniff...tear. Mollie is Growin up!! Tonight they had a father/daughter dance for the city of Sugar Land and I thought Mollie was going to explode with excitement. Bill picked her up after work and off to dinner they went and then to the dance.
So, now I have the house super clean(Fridays are my new bust an ass clean the whole house day), the boys entertained with a movie or two, and now blog land here I come. Heaven! I haven't been able to just sit and read blogs in awhile I'm stoked!!

So here's Bill's Valentine:) I not only painted her nails I even did her hair, are you proud of me?

Can you tell I really didn't have much to say about the outfit!! I think its super cute though. She found this dress in her too big bin, it was a hand me down from some sweet girls in Arkansas and she HAD to wear it! The shoes well after going to 4 different stores (who knew little girl dress shoes are so hard to find) we ended with these. They make me smile cause I just think of Sam & Mia:) and the leggings, I don't know, is that the style???

My only Prayer for Mollie at the moment is... that she grows up to find somebody JUST like her Daddy!

H- I want a DS.(yes this is Hayden not Nolan)

B- I'm sure it was something like "I Love you more.."
H- NO!! I love YOU More!!
this went on for like 5 more minutes I seriously couldn't believe I was hearing my BABY say this...but i hear it all the time when he talks to me. The other day i yelled up to him in the toy room and asked "Hayden, what are doing?" Oh he replies with a simple "Uh, just watching cartoons. What are you doing, Mom? He also says "OOH can I have some?" Or "Ooh can I do that?"
So frickin stinkin cute!!
Oh, He can also sing along to the whole theme song of Pipi Longstocking! I will(need) to get that on video!

Hey here is a cool site I found. I'm trying to get my Mom into cutting coupons cause i would use them I just cant deal with trying to figure it all out. Winter?? No one told us!

70 something degrees to us is Summer! I have had the best couple of days because I finally feel like my life is back to normal. There is nothing I enjoy more than sitting and watching my kids play knowing my house work is done and I really don't have anything else to do. It's great, give me a beer and its even better!:)
Today was beautiful and WARM! I went out side and found my kids playing in the hose! Actually I think the name of the game was... "it's raining outside and we are swinging"!!Fun game it looks like huh?

Texas Beach

I am So Stoked about this! This whole Texas has a beach thing! It only took us about an hour to get here, and to my surprise it was way prettier than I had imagined! This place is fantastic! White sandy beaches, millions of sea shells, those awesome peers for photographs(oh wait, I mean fishing):)! I can not wait to go back on a day we can swim and build sandcastles and just let the kids roam!! We went down on this day to go fishing, but no luck! I was just happy to find this place and look at those funny pelicans:) I just love em!The three stooges...before I got to close and they flew away!Just my handsome little Dude

Walk to the Park

First, I wanted to share this picture that was taken a couple days ago when I had the urge to go take some new pics of my kids...the only problem was that the only kid in the mood to get his picture taken was Moose!! But doesn't he look fantastic, he's even Smiling! Ha

Went on a walk today and remembered to take my camera! Now it was high noon the worst time of day to take pictures (FYI) but who cares I'm not posting them for a magazine :) right! Me, Moose, (who is becoming a fantastic walk companion) Hayden, and Nolan went exploring through our neighborhood today! I must say, I think that's why I'm not opposed to moving so much cause I absolutely LOVE seeing and exploring new places! This place is awesome, I just Love it!

The entry into our little division of the big development called New Territory. Stone creek has about 30 some houses and kinda just goes in a circle with about three cul-de-sacs in there to.The whole development has tree lined streets. I really thought I'd miss my Oregon trees but, not really.These lakes are throughout and the kids love to go feed the ducks.Pecan Park which is huge! has two different playgrounds inside of it. Robbie it reminds me of circle park but way bigger, I guess its just that they do the streets the same way and the houses look at the park! You can bet Bill and I will waiting for one of those houses to open up:) oh wait that's right I'm not moving again! :) Yes, Hayden is in his footy's! Hey, there has to be at least one white trash family in the hood!:)LOL, No but seriously it makes for some good sliding he went down like a rocket!:)

Just cute! Watch this! Doh! I guess these are Pecan Trees? ha that would make sense! I cant wait to see them bloom!The other play structure!
