New House

I have so much to say... I'll start with I Love It Here! Sugar Land is So nice! The town is beautiful and the people are super friendly. Mollie started school today and was very nervous when I dropped her off, but by the time I went back to eat lunch with her it was like she has been there all year. She told me all the girls at recess surrounded and welcomed her and were all very friendly! Fewww! When I went to eat lunch Mollie was sitting with 3 girls, one white, one black, and one east Indian. Sugar land is very diverse (at least more than I'm used to) and I love it. I love the fact that Mollie doesn't know any different and that's America to her... One big melting pot!

Okay so the house! We ended up leasing a house for a year. A great decision, I think, so we can decide if we like the hood or not. So far though, I can't imagine there being a better neighborhood. (Holly, you will be happy to know there are 2 police officers in the cul-de-sac across the street from us) so it must be cool-huh? :) The neighborhood has 4 community pools, many many little parks, a club, tennis courts, etc. I can walk to a grocery store, Starbucks, pizza place, ect. OH...and I can walk to my friend Maggie's house. What a blessing having her here, it really has made the transition easier.

Here are some pics of the house! I really love it. I was kinda sad at first that every wall in the house is white but now I kinda find it refreshing! Its so bright in here the Natural light is amazing! I'm kinda hoping at the end of the year we can just buy this house and then add our own personal touches, we'll see!

Some stats its 2750 sq ft, 4 bedroom 2.5 bath.

Right when you walk in the front door! The living room ceiling is vaulted and you can see the staircase above.A true office! Kitchen(love the layout) not the decor:)Bill and I have a room off the toy room that is super good size, the only bad side is there is only one bath upstairs. I share my moms closet cause its huge so it works!
I'm sure I will continue to post pics as I get things decorated. I have not really done that. My next job today is to order some of my OWN pictures and get them displayed! Wish me luck that's a huge one:)!
