Okay, I go back and forth because I really don't want to be one of those crazy people obsessed about "All Natural"- "Organic"- no this -no that -blah blah blah! BUT!!! Seriously, it is my job to raise healthy eaters and it is my job to make sure Me and My Husband are around to see them bloom-
beautifully into Healthy Adults!
Those of you who know me well know
I'm all about Moderation! Cause in the end(if its not too soon- caused by unhealthy habits) you need to live a little and
truly a little
living is not gonna kill ya and only make this life here worth LIVING!
So with that being said... Now that we are all settled into my Moms, I can get back to everyday
normalcy-
I'm going on a sugar strike! Just for a bit to ween my kids and myself from the
dependency of it! I have always been aware of what I put in my body and my kids bodies and I have always tried to have a good balance but, I have
truly fallen short on
VEGGIES and Fruit!
So I planted my tomatoes the other day- can't wait for those to arrive and I have the Magic Bullet for yummy fruit smoothies (no excuses) !
So here it goes-this is
what I want to eliminate from our diet....
-NO TRANS FAT or Partially Hydrogenated Oils (
which thankfully for my sister I have pretty much tried to avoid now for a couple years, so I got a head start on that!) FYI-
Burgerville fries there food in trans fat free oil!!
-NO High Fructose Corn Syrup-NO Red 40-No Diet Cokenow I will try to do whole grain and
no bleach four and all that but that can be overwhelming, but I will try!:)
So if any of you have great snack Ideas I would LOVE to hear them!
I'm pretty good at making homemade cookies and stuff so recipes would be good too:)!
Oh and Im gonna try to Drink More Red Wine!!:)
