Love My Job!

I don't really feel like I can call what I do a JOB! Well(haha),especially since I'm really not bringing in much income;)!! Some day right?? Anyways, I love doing what I do even if I don't make any money doing it!
This last weekend Bree and I were the photographers for the TTTS Race for Hope 2008 in Kirkland WA. What an awesome event and important cause (to learn more about the cause click on the link above.) We donated our time but we actually really scored! Free night away in an awesome Hotel, in an awesome little city. Thanks Corey and Jessica for the opportunity.
I will have many many more pictures up soon. Bree and I only have about 1000 to go through and prepare for web soo we will be busy doing that this week!


Look Bree made us Super cute shirts to wear! We felt so professional! ha! Just the view from the stage of the race. Pretty huh!

TMNT..Rocks

This is now what I see when I look at Nolan!! It pays to buy the Halloween costumes early- you really get your moneys worth out of it that way! I'm gonna miss Nolan who is no longer Nolan for the next 30 or so days. He is now a Ninja Turtle!! He already tried to sleep in it and go to the dentist in it . Ha!:) I know, knowing me you would have thought I would let him, and typically I would, but it does have to hold up for 30 or more days until Halloween, after then he can go anywhere he pleases in it! :)
Now I'm on the hunt for one Haydens size (2t). Oh you should see admiration in the Dudes eyes when the Turtle does his stunt jumps off the couch. He tries to put on Nolans but that's not happening. I need to find one fast.

Keepin them Busy!

Our New favorite place! I'm so happy I learned about this place as the weather starts to get gloomy! It's just a gymnastics place that they open up once a week for kids to come and play! What a workout for them and best of all its easy for me!! I just follow The Dude around and Nolan and Mollie can have free rein to do whatever! I think after Christmas we will sign Mollie up for classes as she is begging to learn. Nolan, well, he's just having fun playing Tarzan right now. Although, I must say, his coordination amazes me. I'm also happy I found this for Nolan-he needs something to do while Mollie's in school because If I let him he's totally content just watching cartoons(not good) but too easy for me, so I make myself get out and do something active with him and Hayden everyday!!

So I go into the bathroom to view the amazing heart turd! And to my surprise it really does look like a heart! I'm just Glad it was cute and small ( I bet you are too), and very proud that their was toilette paper in there!

For our Moose Fans!

I feel sorry for the girls who gave Moose to us. I bet they miss him badly. He is THE BEST Dog! I know he's Grannys officially, but we love him just as much. He is so nice to have around... you feel safer because he likes to guard the house and he makes an awesome foot rest while watching TV! Granny took him to the beach for a week and I truly missed him! Oh I guess I should tell you how much the kids love him too. Hayden Loves to go around yelling Moose Mooose Mooooose! Mollie likes to try and dress him up(I really need to have my camera ready next time) and Nolan loves to throw the ball to him(of course). So, I am happy to say he is working out wonderfully! Not to mention the best of all... he has really put a purpose back into Granny's life! She has somebody to Love and worry about, all over again!:) I tell Granny all the time (when Moose is being on his best behavior) that I get FULL credit for making her get him!:)

Good Find!

...and this is why I LOVE garage sales! 3 bucks people! Hayden feels so special. Haydude does not have very many toys that are just his and he SO knows this is just for him. I have not been able to get him out of this car for two days and I dare Mollie or Nolan to try and get near it.:) The best thing about it , is for 3 bucks when the Dude gets tired of it, I can guilt free get rid of it! If you don't know me, I love getting rid of stuff just as much (if not more) than getting stuff.
Although, I must say sometimes I feel like you can spoil your children even more from garage sales because the Stuff is so cheap and they don't know the difference between new and used (yet anyways) its just New to them. So I have made Mollie and Nolan do a garage sale fund where they earn Money to spend at garage sales. Score for me cause there allowance only has to be like two bucks and that goes a long way at a garage sale -Ya know!
I also have to say, I'm not a crazy garage sale er person. I do not get up at the crack ass of dawn to go and I do not drive all over (Gas cost way to much for that), I never stop at grungy gross ones, (so I stick to the nice neighborhoods) and so I guess you could call me garage sale snob for that.):)
...but it works for me, and The Dude scored on this find!

Date Night.

Finally got a night out! I must say... it is nice to be able on the spur of the moment say "hey Granny (real sweet like) you feel like baby sitting?" She was up for it:) so we went to eat dinner at one of my favorite places in Portland!McMenamins on NW 23rd street! We ate outside, had some drinks, people watched and reminisced. (This is the street I walked up and down for like 4 hours trying to make myself go into labor with Nolan.) It was REALLY nice to get out. Bills so patient with me taking pics all night but actually hes starting to get the picture bug too! He told me to take pictures of the bridge on the way there, so these are for him!

Cool Barn!

I have always had a thing for Barns! I don't really know why, I just love them. So when we moved in and I saw this barn just down the street a million pictures ran through my mind. Oh, what I could do with that barn:)! It is easy for me to envision a picture I want when I see something( like an old barn) but actually making the visions come out good and the way I had it in my mind is always more difficult than I think its going to be.
So when Mollie had on My favorite dress of hers today (which remember I'm making a point to take pics so I don't have to save everything) We ran down here and had a short shoot!! Nolan's feeling were hurt because he wasn't asked to be in the pictures and I kept saying " Nolan !Move out of my way!!!" sad but trust me he will have his turn with the barn too:) What I want next is a picture of them playing hide and seek in there,wouldn't that be cool!
So anyways on one of probably our last warm days here before fall sets in. I took this opportunity to capture a little New w/ Old! I think I'm in Love!

She was just begging to go in and explore and get all dirty. Next time for sure. I love it that Mollie is such a little explorer and not afraid to get dirty!
Okay seriously, I know she is my daughter and I have daughter goggles on when I look at her but is she not beautiful!

I want Mollie's style!! I know that probably sounds funny but I do! Ever since Mollie could decide for herself what she wants to wear I have let her! Its just not my thing(clothes) so I really don't care what she picks out! Yes even to school. Bree would sometimes giggle when she saw Mollie walk into or out of class(last year). That's where Bree and I met by the way Mollie's old school. Anyways sorry got off track! But I have always loved Mollie's little style! Yes a lot of the time clothes are givin to us -(which I'm a Huge fan of)and/or I get them at garage sales( no I'm not embarrassed to say and neither is Mollie:)) So we kinda get a hodge podge of clothes not one real style, but Mollie has a knack of putting outfits together!

Just Cute! I hope it sticks(her little free spirit for whatever she feels like wearing)!

I need validation here!!

I realized tonight after cleaning the kids room-that I simply do not get enough atta boys!! Three Kids share ONE room that doubles as the play room!!Robbie this pic is for you!! I so know you will appreciate this! This one closet holds Mollie's , Nolan's, & Hayden's clothes + Toys! Its a big closet but still!!!You know I take things to Good Will EVERY day to keep this thing in order!! I had to take off the doors to make it work..but its way better!! So can I get a little WHOOT WHOOT!! Go momma!! Pay no mind to the naked butt. Butt..:) I realized I have not posted a picture of the finished product of the homemade bunk beds by Billy!!! Basically, its just the awesome tent from Ikea I wanted you to see! Nolan feels sooo special! Hayden chooses to sleep w/ Mollie at this point, I'm sure it will change soon!! My kids will be close friends because of this situation...Right??

Stafford Stampede

Mollie had a back to school celebration! Oh my was this a big event....her newest friend Gracie was going to be there and Mollie has not been able to stop talking about her since school started!! I'm so relieved its always a fear your child will be lonely or not good at making friends or ya know, the many things that are just sad.. So we went to the stampede and Mollie pouted until she found Gracie then all of a sudden she sees her and she just lit up! Poor Nolan was then left in the dust to fend and play by himself. Sad:(
Uh yes Mollie does do her own hair for school now:)Oh my gosh there was a dance floor and it was rockin!They were so funny, breakin out all the moves and even making the faces that go with it-ya you know those faces. Where did they learn that from-huh! Must be natural?

Pony rides not a hit for the dude! Oh Mollies first day of first Grade picture!!! I think her piggies are to die for cute! But like I said before she now does her own in the morning...she likes it that way it makes her feel big(at least thats what i tell my lazy ass who won't get up that early to do her hair!:) I kinda think she does a good job anyways so little girl cute!!

Is this not the bluest blue you have ever seen. It was amazing! Now these pictures have been processed a bit but really not much I'm thinking this is pretty much what it looked like! It was very pretty but very cold. You kinda go look and say okay lets get back in the warm cozy car!!

And to think your kids don't watch every move you make! The moment Hayden got in the drivers seat on daddy's lap (best part of the trip by the way for the Haydude) he instantly went for the coffee cup! He's such a smart funny little dude!!!
uhh this guy almost ate my camera!! For those of you, not from around these parts, Wild Life Safari is a drive through zoo! It's really neat and the kids have a blast!!! Just the whole idea of unbuckling their car seats is enough excitement for them- the animals are just a bonus!! Uhh kinda scary...this dude was on a mission, your not suppose to feed the animals but this guy was for sure we were the car that was going to break the rules:) Poor dude- no such luck- I think Bill would have but he was a bit afraid!

Birthday Vaycay!

Happy B-day to Me! Whoot! Tomorrow I will be 35!! Bill and I went on a little road trip to celebrate(what I love Best). Yes we took all the kids as always. I really do think I have more fun with them there just a lot less worry than if I left them. Although, I do think I would like to leave them one day-(for a Dream vacation)but just thought of traveling without them and something happening to us makes me sick! I KNOW! I really need to work on that! Bill took this picture for me-Love IT! Doesn't this look like a Dream Vaycay for you? hahaha Way more pics to come! I just have a lot of catching up to do after being gone-2 days- and yes the house fell apart! Plus Mollie started school and I'm not so good with structure and scheduals- not to mention her school starts at 7:50 AM-as in MORNING-Before I believe the sun rises!!(What the Hell)!
